Abstract

The object of this research is the humanization of education, delimited in the analysis of the perspective of the formative process of liberating education. The central objective of the study was to analyze how educational proposals from a liberating perspective can contribute to the humanistic formation of students in the current context. This study is qualitative research of an exploratory, analytical, and theoretical nature through bibliographical research. The analysis was carried out in the Google Scholar research database based on the articles that deal with the categories studied. The results demonstrate the need to reflect on the importance of humanizing and liberating education for a more integrative educational approach to the human being. It is concluded that the school plays a central role in the humanization process, but there is no single path to achieving a liberating education. Instead, it is a gradual process that requires training with a transformative profile in the fight against social inequalities.
