Open Access Policy and Copyright

Región Científica has been created as an academic publication following the guidelines of open access, and therefore can be freely consulted without requiring registration, subscription, or payment; allowing downloading, distribution, copying, and printing of its material without restrictions, thus ensuring compliance with the following objectives:

• Unrestricted access to information, without economic, legal, or technical barriers.
• Increased visibility and impact of the institution and its researchers.
• Contributors retain their copyright, as well as the right to publish their articles wherever they see fit.
• Authors transfer their rights to the publisher for the publication of the articles. 

Región Científica, in line with its higher purpose, aims to eliminate barriers that limit access to products of scientific research as a universal heritage of humanity, considering this as an investment in generating knowledge exchange. Therefore, it is backed by the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International license.
