Resumen

La pandemia Covid-19, cambió la forma de interactuar, lo cual obligó al mundo a utilizar las TIC como recurso instituido y emergente. La universidad de La Guajira combinaba el escenario presencial con el virtual, sin embargo, existía resistencia diagnosticada en el personal docente. La investigación identificó el rol del docente en el uso de las tecnologías en los procesos de enseñanza-aprendizaje, fundamentada en el enfoque cuantitativo, tipo descriptivo, con un diseño de campo de corte no experimental. La población de estudio estuvo compuesta por 1.062 estudiantes, mientras que la muestra estudiante por 282. Como instrumento de recogida de información se aplicó un cuestionario escala Likert con una confiabilidad de 0,859, obtenida mediante el Alfa de Cronbach. Se concluyó que los docentes tienen dominio de la tecnología, utilizan los equipos de apoyo mínimos, brindan apoyo procedimental mediante explicaciones, colaboración, orientación y motivación, para potenciar el desempeño, conforme a las necesidades de cada estudiante.
