Estudio comparativo del aprendizaje del idioma inglés mediante la redacción y el lenguaje oral

El aprendizaje del idioma inglés se ha convertido progresivamente en una necesidad en la sociedad actual. En un mundo globalizado y crecientemente interconectado, desarrollar competencias lingüísticas en este idioma es un importante requisito para optar por mejores desempeños escolares, académicos o laborales. El objetivo del estudio fue comparar el aprendizaje del idioma inglés mediante la redacción y el lenguaje hablado en tres escuelas profesionales de la UNSA. Se utilizó un diseño no experimental comparativo durante un semestre académico en el curso de inglés básico, con un dictado de 4 horas semanales. Se tomó una muestra de estudiantes en tres escuelas profesionales: un curso de Enfermería (n=38), uno de Ingeniería Industrial (n=39) y uno de Psicología (n=37). Se aplicó un diseño basado en el recabado de evidencia documental para el diagnóstico del rendimiento en los exámenes escrito y oral. Los hallazgos indicaron que los estudiantes de Enfermería tuvieron mejor nota en los exámenes orales. En cambio, los de Ingeniería Industrial tuvieron mayor nota en los exámenes escritos; los de Psicología tienen notas intermedias en relación a las anteriores escuelas. Se concluye que existe diferencia significativa en un 95% entre el examen escrito y el examen oral en todas las escuelas.
